Yay its March! The weather was great this passed weekend and now I am looking forward to lighter, fresh recipes for spring and summer. This week I am going to try some new recipes; a few pastas and a lot of fresh fruits and veggies. Today (Monday) we’ll be having this fresh Taco Salad. For the recipe check out the blog All Things Simple
Tuesday’s recipe will be Tubettoni Pasta with Chickpeas from the food blog Italian Food Forever… could eat Italian everyday….
Wednesday will be this delicious Berry and Avocado Chicken Salad. Nothing is fresher to me than avocados and fruit… yumm!
Thursday we will be slow-cooking this Beef Stroganoff... I love to use my slow-cooker it is so simple and takes the hectic dinner rush out of the day. For this recipe check out Martha Stewart.
And for Friday a fun one.. Jalapeno Popper Grilled Cheese! This one may be interesting so we shall see if it actually turns out well. All of these heartier recipes I’ll serve with salad and maybe sourdough toast to lighten them. You can always alter your recipes to make them kid friendly by removing ingredients or serving them in a different presentation.
