This month has been a busy one but also it’s been full of inspiration! I’ve loved crafting with my kids and getting to try some new fun ideas! I’ve really been working on the sensory side of Art this season and helping my kids enjoy the art of making crafts they can adore on the tree. First up are several Christmas Ornament ideas we’ve been working on this December.
Christmas Ornament Ideas:
Yarn wrapped pinecones. This Christmas art project is a great way to incorporate tactile senses by allowing kids to feel the pinecones vs the yarn and to create using a variety of colors mixed with nature.
We also worked on some beautiful Salt Dough ornaments that we molded, cut and detailed. You can find the recipe on my instagram. After the ornaments were dry we used watercolor to enhance the look of each one.
Yarn wrapped Jar lids to create mini Christmas Wreath ornaments. So cute.
