Spring Playdough has a variety of different theme options, today I am sharing a few of my favorites with you! My kids will always play playdough for hours and they love when I make them specific themed setups. Fairies and flower petals are among the top of the list. My middle daughter loves to make small intricate fairylands and playdough is a great media that can be used as a base for this.
This Spring playdough was setup with lemons and lemon scented playdough, using just a few drops of lemon while mixing my favorite playdough recipe here. It creates soft and durable playdough that can be used time and time again! adding real lemons and rose petals is a very inviting set up for little hands.
Here is more playdough with lemons and ranunculus flowers! Lots of little pull apart flowers are great additions to spring playdough play! My kids love to use a rolling pin to roll out the playdough and then play bakery or pie shop with petals and fruit. Mixed all together the playdough still lasts long and becomes more beautiful over time.
Next up, I made some rose playdough and put out some cookie cutters and spring playdough flowers. Simple daisies make a beautiful addition to any playdough setup as do wooden bowls and utensils for little hands.
Lastly, on the Spring playdough round up I have a beautiful sunshine made of yellow and orange playdough on cardboard. I added lots of dried bits for the kids to decorate the sunshine with as well. Corn kernels and dried flowers as well as little rope balls make a great inviting playdough setup.
Many spring items in general make great additions to playdough setups What are your favorite playdough additions?
